Project Overview:
I was tasked with reimagining a sponsored brand campaign video for VitaHustle. The primary objective was to create a concise, visually compelling video that would not only captivate potential customers but also adhere strictly to Amazon's moderation policies and technical specifications. This project required a delicate balance between creative expression and regulatory compliance, all while enhancing the brand's digital presence on Amazon.


Challenges:
The brand requested my help to create a short video that complied with all guidelines, despite the limited b-roll footage. This involved avoiding obstruction of the user interface by critical content, optimizing the video for format and resolution, complying with restrictions on customer reviews, star ratings, and references to Amazon trademarks, products, or services, and updating the video with the latest product images.


Implementation:
VitaHustle initially requested a video incorporating b-roll footage alongside motion graphics, envisioning lifestyle shots of people using their products in various settings. Developing a new concept, I created dynamic motion graphics to showcase products and convey benefits. To capture attention, I included b-roll of Kevin Hart, the popular actor and founder of VitaHustle, making and tasting the drink at the beginning. I only received two UGC-style videos from the brand for the Supergreens product, so I had to work around the limited footage. I decided to retouch and color grade the video of the drink being mixed to match the actual color of the Supergreens drink, compensating for the lack of close-ups. I refined the visual style to align fully with VitaHustle's branding guidelines and implemented motion graphics elements to maintain viewer engagement throughout the 15-second duration. Script and storyboard refinement distilled the brand's key messages into a compelling narrative, focusing on core product benefits and brand values. Utilizing advanced animation techniques, I created dynamic visuals that showcased the product in an eye-catching manner while respecting Amazon's interface guidelines. The video was meticulously formatted to meet Amazon's specifications, ensuring optimal playback quality across all devices. Additionally, the latest product images were seamlessly integrated into the video, enhancing visual appeal and accuracy.


Results:
The final 15-second video successfully combined dynamic motion graphics with strategic b-roll footage, effectively showcasing VitaHustle's products. It adhered to the brand's guidelines and maintained high viewer engagement. Featuring Kevin Hart helped capture immediate viewer interest. The visual style was refined to align with VitaHustle's brand guidelines. Retouching and color grading ensured the footage matched the desired aesthetic. The video met VitaHustle's vision and effectively communicated key selling points. Pleased with the outcome, VitaHustle asked me to create similar videos for all of their products.


Conclusion:
This project showcased the importance of creativity and adaptability in video production. By developing a concept that utilized dynamic motion graphics and strategic b-roll footage, I was able to overcome the challenges of limited footage and create a compelling, brand-aligned video. The success of this project demonstrates the effectiveness of creative problem solving in meeting client needs.
