I was tasked with designing a pop-up for Ritual.com’s account dashboard, aimed at communicating the optionality of subscription cadences to consumers. The goal was to clearly convey that customers could choose between receiving a 30-day supply (quantity 1 of a SKU) every 30 days or a 90-day supply (quantity 3 of a SKU) every 90 days, with an emphasis on making the 90-day option more compelling.

The pop-up was designed to inform customers of their ability to select the cadence at which they receive their products. It also highlighted a 15% discount on the first shipment for users who switched from a monthly to a quarterly subscription, targeting those already committed to their Ritual routine. Additionally, the animation underscored the environmental benefits of choosing a quarterly cadence, as fewer shipments translate to reduced carbon emissions.

Here's a mockup that the Senior Product Designer sent me, which served as the initial guide for the project. Based on this, I designed and animated the final asset, ensuring it aligned with the brand's aesthetic and effectively communicated the desired messages.




Outcome

The final animation successfully communicated the optionality of subscription cadences, making the 90-day option both visually and contextually more appealing. The pop-up was clear, concise, and aligned with Ritual's brand ethos of convenience, savings, and sustainability.
